This hands-on workshop is designed to teach you how to safely clean and restore historic cemetery headstones. You will get an introduction to conservation-grade cleaning materials and tools, learn proper cleaning and restoration techniques, and best practices for preserving stones.
The event will take place on March 22, at Fairport Cemetery in Fairport Missouri, 10am to 3pm. This is an outdoor event, so sturdy shoes, gloves and a lawn chair are recommended. Registration fee is $10 and includes lunch at the event. Click on the picture to register. |
